Who still takes the ferry when crossing over to France?

I remember back in 1994 , I went to France on the ferry, very nice, loved it. I hate taking the chunnel.
I like the fresh air and scenery and the ability to drink and eat.

What about you? why do you like it or not like it?

I'm with you! I love the ferry, it's much more fun than the tunnel. You can eat, drink, browse around the shops. A trip to France wouldn't be the same if it wasn't on the ferry!

When we go to France generally we go through the Chunnel but on the odd occasion, when the weather is good and we aren't in too much of a hurry, we prefer to go by ferry. You can book a room for the duration and there are restaurants, cafes, and burger bars as well as bars and amusements, none of which you'd find on the Eurostar or Chunnel Train. It is a more civilised laid back way to go to France.

I do it, simply because the chunnel only drops you at one port, and if you want to go south, or to the Netherlands (for instance) then a nice relaxing trip on the ferry, having a leisurely lunch to pass the time, will drop you off at a more suitable place.

However, I don't fly.

My parents still take the ferry, not sure if its for the same reason though, im not sure if they can fit the car and caravan on the train. lol

that's conceivable to get those wrist bands which have little balls in them that press down on stress factors on your wrist and help subdue any nausea brought about by technique of go back and forth ailment, a strong pharmacy must have them, or you would possibly want to google them. i'm getting ill on a bus, so i come across those to be tremendous.
