i heard a song in a hot topic store and i need to know who its by..
the only lyrics i remember/could understand are something like "i dont want you to see me" or "i dont want you to see me like this"
its a really hardcore song the begining just started out with him screaming the lyrics out. the whole song is more screaming than "singing" its porbably an artist sold at hot topic stores but im not sure i just LOVED the song and need to know who its by.
PS- when i tried to google the lyrics the only results that seemed to come up were to a band called chicago....But weret they a "60s band" way back in the day? maybe someone did a cover of their song?

it was a Male singer. and more violent/screamo/hardcore than the deftones..

Check out the Pussycat Dolls, that is what came to mind when I first read your question...though I know nothing about current "cool" music, but this is a band I'd figure for playing at retails stores aimed at the teens and 20 somethings.

I also looked on Google and I came across a band called Drown. Now, to me they sound like the sort of band who would scream. :p
The lyrics I saw were to a song called 'Longing.'

I tried to look for the band information, but nothing comes up, so that's confusing. :s

when i first began reading your question, Chicago immediately came to mind as well. you dont know about Chicago? im 26 years old and i love that band!!! well anyways, if you wanted to know the name of the song its called "Look Away." Its possible that this song has recently been released by a cover band but i wouldnt bet on it myself... besides, the actual lyrics from the Chicago song are "i dont want you to see me, i dont want you to see me this way..." a bit different.
