Some one said to me to find out the percent of people living in poverty in south America and China

they said to compare the poverty rates from 50 years ago and the poverty rates now.

they said that Chinas communist system was better at reducing poverty than the western capitalist system in Latin America.

can some one help me find the figures.

is this true?

China knows how to achieve controlled growth.
It also knows how to go by with limited resources.
However, for the numbers you are looking for, your first bet would be to contact the embassies of those countries.

After that you do google search...hit the libraries...it is a gigantic task that you have undertaken primarily due to the language barrier.

BTW, check the CIA fact book on those countries. Do google.

I can't tell you about number or figures. However, I can tell you that China is a country with a high level of poverty.The government control the whole system,but that is not enough no reduce bad leaving.The complex Communist e economy is brake in development.In other words,the growinprocess do not take place.In Latin America,is different.They are not rich,but the system works in better way.
