Honey, I would get a second opinion from my regular doctor. I am assuming they didn't mention placenta previa or anything like that, but I would get a second opinion and try to stay off my feet as much as possible until the bleeding stops. Women do experience second trimester bleeding and most of the time everything turns out ok, but keep an eye out for worsening bleeding and cramping. Good luck.

well, I don't know from expierence, but I can tell you what my mom told me just this saturday. (and we all know moms know best) My mother said when she was pregnant with me, she was 3 months pregnant, standing in the kitchen and just started bleeding. Bleeding like a period. She freaked out, and called her doctor, convinced she was having a miscarriage. He told her to take it easy, and lay down, put her feet up. He said some women could through what's like a light period during pregnancy. He said as long as it wasn't heavier then a period, and didn't last longer then a day, it was fine. I'm 26 now (and expecting MY first child), so I'm proof that sometimes bleeding is just that- bleeding. Again, she was 3 months pregnant, and it was blood like a period- red and flowing. This is in no way meant to keep you from seeking medical help...but sometimes you just need to hear comforting words to help you mentally calm down. Stressing is bad for the baby. I wish you the best of luck and will pray for you and your little one. God bless you both. I hope this helps.

ok firstly bleeding in pregnancy can be normal but unusual that late in pregnancy . i was bleeding for the first 4 months constantly of my second pregnany and was monitered every week but i gave birth to a healthy son. i would go and ask for a second opinion if your worried just to be on the safe side. also stress can lead to bleeding in pregnancy with no problems to the baby. i suggest you slow down and relax for a little while have a few days off work and stay in bed. stress during pregnancy is not good. i have had 2 miscarriages and i can tell u that misscarriages have clots in the blood so its a good sign that there is none. dont worry yourself all could be fine. just chill.. hope it all goes well for u xx

hi
it is very unlikely that u have bleeding at this gestational age.
but anything is possible , my advice is that you need an ultrasound test to show u the following
1- fetal viability and age.
2-placenta location.
3-amount of liquor (amniotic fluid).

ur discription of the p.v.bleeding suggest rupture of membrane , but since the fetus is so small it is not certain untill u have an ultrasound test.

yea this could happen, it happened to me and i thought i was gonna have a mis-carrage so i went to the ER they check me in, i was there overnight. the doc could not figure out what had happened. so if the doc said it was nothing, well then theres nothing to worry about :)
