Sir, conservatives care about keeping the country free for the individual. Liberals want to abolish individualism. The world wants to stay on a socialist path. This is not how the United States of America was founded for. Read Atlas Shrug.

That’s a crass generalization if I ever heard one. I hardly ever align myself to conservative ideals, but I don’t think Liberals are the only ones who care about the United States and the world, and they certainly aren’t the only ones who are altruistic.
The truth is there are people in both the conservative and liberal camps who have selfless intentions to better the world; it’s just that each has a different means to go about achieving that objective. History attests that no movement, that is completely liberal, or completely conservative, attains what is best for mankind, because a fanatical subscription to either side of the political spectrum is ultimately self-destructive.
Generally the best policies, both domestic and international, cull ideas from both sides of isle and thus fashion laws that benefit the people the best.

Because of the nature of American politics. Conservatives and Republicans are happy with as little change as possible. They rake in the money and stay powerful.
The remaining power base are those who do not benefit from the way things are now. Those people vote also and they want change and improvement for theirs.
Liberals tend to be more caring and human people, also.

You mostly care about your imaginary world where people conform to a Utopian like idea logy. Unfortunately not everyone is touchy feely. unfortunately not every one accepts progress and the destruction of societies base. Change is good but there is always a time where progress must be halted.

Liberals care about ideals, not people. And their idea of a utopian socialist state despite it failing time after time is again being tarnished by Chavez who has recently informed his citizens that their children belong 50% to their parents and 50% to the state.
Liberals need to grow up and remember there are people in the world, it is not about ideals and textbooks.

It isn't mostly liberals who care about America and the world. That's an opinion of yours as opposed to fact.
