I tried Loreal's mineral makeup, but I didn't like it as much as bare escentuals. Bare escentuals makes my skin itch because of the bismuth they put in it. I finally found Southern Magnolia Minerals, an ebay store that sells their own mineral make up at very reasonable prices and it is AWESOME stuff! They also have a web site now outside ebay. You can mix & match her foundation colors and you can get a trial set for very little $$$ that has 4 colors and a blush! LINK: http://www.southernmagnoliaminerals.com/home.html

why don't you find a nice moose foundation? it gives good coverage, is oil free and is light as well! Ive tried lancome magi moose it was expensive but good, the best one though is, of course, Mabelline moose! its really nice you should try ab it on your skin whenshopping and see what you think! if not why not go to a department store and get afew free samples and see which ones you like- oh and the rimmel moose foundation isnt that good i dont think, its light coverage! stick foundations from bobbi brown are full coverage and not too heavy either :)

the best thing to do is go to a highend department store (saks, nordstrom holt renfrew, etc) or a mac or aveda make up counter. go to the different counters like laura mercier, armani, bobbi brown, etc. tell them your needs and your dilema. then ask for samples of the oil free foundation and loose powder. they will give it to you. take it home and try them all out! this way, you know which one works best for you and you will not waste any money. for all the money people waste on drugstore foundations that do not suit their skin or do not match their skin tone, it could be cheaper to buy a high quality foundation and powder that you will use everyday. also keep in mind that as you age, you need to use a very high quality loose powder to set your make up. the better the quality, the finer the mill. a fine milled make up will set your faoundation and make up rather than sitting and building up in the fine lines.
i strongly recommend laura mercier or armani foundation for you and laura mercier or chanticaille loose powder.

bypass to MAC and different larger end elegance shops/counters. tell them your quandary and they wll help hit upon a product and colour equipped for your needs. From the outline you've given of your pores and skin, you're probably more suitable off with a liquid starting up on your cheeks and then dusting some powder on your nostril for oil contol. i keep in mind that with MAC, they grant you with a loose pattern of maximum products so ask, and also you shall probably receive. this grant you with a more suitable robust idea too on the way you're prepared to follow it and what it is going to look as if on a on a daily basis foundation. P.S. i imagine that your pores and skin would do truly properly with regularly happening exfoliation and moisturizing. on your cheeks i'd propose Eucerin cream, that is presented in a large bath and doesn't look very glamourous - even though it is going to HEAL your pores and skin! remember the sunblock as well! Goodluck :)
