I know their is many times a chain reaction when one market has a bad day the others do as well.

Do you think Wall Street starts the chain reaction more or do you think the London stock exchange does or Asia or what?

Who is the leader ? what are the reasons for this?

It works both ways, but Wall Street probably affects the other markets in the world a little more than they affect Wall Street.

Wall Street is the leader, because it is the largest marketplace, with the more money than any other.

In UK we say when Wall Street catches a cold, London gets pneumonia.

Typically Wall Street 'leads', however these days the 'lag' is very short - so unless you monitor Share prices at 1 miniute intervals you won't see the difference...
