mymum wont let me have a mobile nor will my dad unless i give her a reallly really good reasons why. i am secondary and everyone seems to have one but ive asked and asked but she keeps saying no you dont need one. i am eleven and when i am 13 teen years old she still wont let me have a mobile phone.plz help me

I agree with him! If you cant think of a reason by yourself then you don't need a cell phone. Besides what do you do or where do you go at 11 that you would need one? I got my first one when I was 16 because I got a truck & my parents wanted me to have one in case of emergency. Maybe ask them if you could get a "Pay As You Go" phone. They are really good phones & you could just do chores around the house to pay for the mintues. The mintues come on cards in the amounts of $15, $25, $50, & I think $100. And if you run out of money you dont have to pay. Just wait til you get some more money & then buy more minutes. You can get the phones alomost any where including Walmart & they run about $30 & up. Show them that you are responsibe enough to have one first then ask! Hope that helps good luck!

How about asking permission to be on Yahoo Answers first, you need to be 13 to have an account without your parents permission! ;)
I'd say ask for one for emergencies, use Google to find stories of kids kidnapped and print them all out saying that none of them would have happened if the kid had a mobile phone that the police could have traced.

You need your phone to call friends and exchange text messages about homework
You need to use your cameraphone to send friends homework pictures.
You need your phone's MP3 player to listen to homework related music.
But honestly, the best reason for parents you can have is so that they can call you up at any time and find out where you are.
Start going out at night and come home late. They will get you a phone in an instant.

7:i talk with my boifrineds
8:i wanna call grampa and gramma more then i usually use homphone
