"People Are People" is Depeche Mode's tenth UK single (released on March 12, 1984) it was their first hit single in the US and the first single for the Some Great Reward album.

"People Are People" is also a compilation album released in North America by Depeche Mode on July 2, 1984 to capitalize on the successful radio play of the song "People Are People".

I have 2 albums right in front of me, the first is "Some Great Reward" and then an album of "previously released material" titled "People are People" which also has "get the balance right" and "everything counts". But the former album has "master and servant" and "blasphemous rumours". BTW, I got both at a thrift store for 1 dollar each!
