I usually get my period for at least 5 days, but I just started mine on the 19th and I have just finished this morning...Could this be because I recently stopped taking my birth control pills, and since it's out of my system, my periods are becoming irregular? I stopped taking it before my last period though, and that one was regular and actually pretty heavy...any ideas?

Thats all it is. Your body is getting use to not being on the pill. You could have a heavy one the first time and the next a very light one. Your body may be off for a little while but its all good :)

speaking from experience, it takes at least a few months for your body to regulate itself. don't expect to get back to a 'normal' cycle for a while.
