the whole bible and most religious doctrines are fantasies and condradictory in scope anyway. Common sense will prevail someday.

Woah!....slow down there.
Ultimate Terrorist Nation? Count this, count that, count something else?.....Follow the money?
Have you done all that?....Don't look like it or you would have been a whole lot more specific.
Now chill out and tell us what's really bothering you. Go ahead...take a deep breath, get rid of all that caffine and take another look at what you said.
Feelin' a wee bit embarassed, I bet.

This morning's news: A bomb followed by a mortar attack struck a market in a predominantly Shiite town north of Baghdad on Monday, killing at least 12 people and wounding nearly 30, police said. The bomb exploded at 5 p.m. near the main market in Khalis, 50 miles north of Baghdad, and a mortar shell struck the same area about five minutes later, according to the information bureau for the volatile Diyala province. It said 12 civilians were killed and 29 were wounded.
The USA is not a theocracy, so your idea is just ludicrous anyway. There is no governmental requirement to follow the Bible. I know that is hard for you Theocratic nations to understand. NO, the Bible does not say "thou shall not kill"...the King James Version does. It has long been recognized that the translation is inaccurate and it has been corrected in later versions of the Bible. The correct translation is "thou shalt not commit murder". There is a distinction. Murder would be strapping a bomb to your chest and walking into a building or onto a bus.
Lucky for you, the Koran advocates both murder and killing. Right? In the past 60 years, how many wars have the US declared? Here is a list of muslim wars just in the middle east in the past 60 years: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_conflicts_in_the_Middle_East

The USA was unheard of in Biblical times, People have chosen to include themselves in this scenario for many reasons, but fear, seems to carry the greatest probability. Going to church doesn't make you a christian any more than standing in the garage makes you a car.

It says Thou Shall Not Murder,(killing without reason). Now if you are a terrorist who is aiming to kill thousands of civilians because they think differently from you, our military has reason to kill you. I dont think this is a Christian nation anymore. We have abortion, gay marriage and took the Pledge of Allegiance out becuase it said "Under God". I love peace, but people can not coexist with active terrorism. Fighting evil is not a bad thing.

By your warped conception we, the U.S., should just lay back and allow anyone to walk on us. Yes there are those that think we should, but the majority won't let it happen.
One of our first flags bore a Copperhead snake, coiled and ready to strike back and it had a very simple motto written on it, "Don't Tread On Me".
Remember that. We may quarrel amongst ourselves but don't screw with us. Just like arguing brothers and sisters, once you strike one of us, we will forget our bickering and we will come after you.

Yes, God says "Thou shalt not kill," however, we can kill in self-defense. God doesn't tell us to sit by and do nothing when we have been advised by Bin Laden and his ilk that they want us dead.
Would you accept an invitation to someone's house then provide them with a litany of what was wrong with it?
I say to you as I would say to anyone who complains about my beloved country, if you don't like it here - move. We have no walls keeping you in.

It think it is more of a suggestion. As I recall my exodus right after Moses presented it to his people they butchered those that weren't toeing the party line.
Go get a hug somewhere, you will feel better.
