Patio Area = 12 ft * 9 ft = 108 square feet
Brick Area = 6 in * 4 in = 24 square inches.

It takes 12*12 = 144 square inches to make a square foot. Since 144/24 = 6, this means it takes 6 bricks to make a square foot.

Therefore you'll need 108 sq.ft * 6 bricks per sq.ft = 648 bricks, or 648 * 0.25 = $162.

$162 but allow for some bricks breaking so buy a few extras. Are you doing it yourself? If not, allow for labor in your area.

Area = 108 sq ft

Each brick is 0.167 sq ft

Total cost = 108/0.167 * 0.25 = $162
