That's going to be a hard sell to get into. Not impossible, but it is going to require a lot of hard work. Here is probably the best way to go about it. First, do your absolute best to pull higher grades in the remainder of your time in high school. The last two years are more important than the first, although the first are important as well. Take your SAT's, several times if necessary, until you have a score that you feel is very good for you. Using some sort of practice SAT book will help increase your score, so go to your local library and you should be able to find one. Once that is done, then you can apply there. You still may not get accepted, so you may want to take a few classes at a local community college and do well in them. That will establish a history of the ability to handle the course work. Then, after a few classes there, try to transfer in to A&M.

On a side note, colleges also look at extracurricular activities, so if you don't have any, take steps to get actively involved in some. Community service is always a plus. In addition, having some sort of obscure ability is also a plus, such as being able to play the tuba. Tuba players are hard to find, and sometimes can be the deciding factor on two otherwise equal candidates (much like the ability to play sports can decide who gets in). Hope this helps. Best of luck to you in your endeavors.

colleges for the most part really oly care about high school grades, and your SATs. If you are in junior high get refocused and bring up your GPA the best you can this year, and next year just do the absolute best you can and continue to do so through high school. Also, after you graduate HS go to a 2 year college and do extremely well there for a few semesters, that will prove to A&M that you are taking your Higher Education seriously, ad they will be more than likely to except you

You need to bust your hump for the remainder of you H.S. years that will bring your GPA up and also show that you are trying. You do need to get the best scores possible on your SAT. Most schools require a certain GPA or SAT go to A&M's web site and look at their admissions requirements that will give you an idea of what to shoot for. Also talk to your H.S.councilor she can tell you what you need to do, that is why they are there to advise you. Take advantage of that. You may also want to take the SAT asap if you don't get the score you need you can take it again before applying. Good luck
