I've given the nature of good and evil a lot of thought. I believe that evil is in self interest. While we all have self interest (we all have to eat), the most evil people I know are always striving for themselves at the cost of others.
As a therapist, I feel that by helping others to live better lives can make me....less evil in the balance.
I hope this answers your question.

Both.
We all are.
Spirit, the internal good natured part of us is incapable of being evil, for it is our direct link to GOD. This is where intuition and instinct dwells. This side is somewhat, rarely seen due to the fact that the average human being doesn't use this side as guide for most decisions. This explains most of the peril that the world suffers presently.
Mind, which is also internal, yet, it is external as well. This is where all of the actions you commit are processed first. This is where the challenge to be good is exercised. If you say, do, or merely think of something evil, it dawns in mind first, then is manifested into reality. Hence, the body responds to your thoughts because it does what you tell it to do. We are all born into sin, this guarantees evil nature.

Its hard just to draw yourself into one of those two categories. There is gotto be something in between. The reason why i say that is because in a way i am good person, but can you count as good person if my personal appearance might throw you off because I swear a lot. It doesnt make me a bad person, does it? Or sometimes i get mad at people and i just say something really bad to them to show them that you cant step all over me. I mean its part of a defense and it would categorize me as a bad person, because good one suppose to forgive all the time. I do forgive, i dont keep grudges, i am overall a good person but i have my times. So i say there need to be something in between. Not good, not evil, but normal.....which would be me and which is absolutely normal. Because normal is when you sometimes good and sometimes evil, and sometimes both at the same time. :))

You are so Evily good! That is why your question has some taste of Goodily Evil!
Well, from the stand point of chicken the eagle is evil, And from the stand point of small insects the chicken is evil!!
From the view of Indian soldiers the intruders are Terrorists & "Evils" . And from the view of pakistanis intruders are Freedom fighters & "Good"!
SO, NO-ONE CAN BE AN "ABSOLUTE GOOD" OR "ABOLUTE EVIL" EITHER!
The relative stand point only justifies both!

There is no Good or Evil in this world. I do not believe that there is one truely evil person or one truely good person on this earth. However, there are people who sway from side to side in the balance. I am more on the side of Evil. I do not go out of my way to help someone else. They wouldn't do the same for me. The hatred here is growing strong, wouldn't remain here.

Neither, I would call myself imperfect, I sometimes do wrong things, but this does not make me evil, just thoughtless. Sometimes I respond to someone elses behavior, in an inappropriate way. This does not make me evil, I may help someone who has a need, this does not make me good, just human recognizing someone else's need. All this shows that I'm not a perfect person, but I'm trying to be as aware and empathetic as I possibly can, I cannot do it perfectly.

Good. I try to make conscious decisions every day to do a good thing, to be aware of other people around me. Sound sickening - I'm no saint by along way!! however I do believe in karma so you will be accountable for your actions, more good actions will result in a higher good score on the evil-good spectrum.

Humanity is basically evil. Evil doesn't necessarily mean cruel. It just means immoral. All humanity is immoral to the core. It takes the blood of Jesus to erase the sin and make us clean.
