Why does Jerry hate Newman, we are never given a reason. All Jerry says is that Newman is pure evil, why?

Aahh...Seinfeld. I guess it could be one of those quirky, unexplained relationships and status amongst the gang. Like, the Apt. building's superintendent's dislike of Newman also. Or Kramer's source of income. Or Jerry's reasoning behind dumping fine azz Elaine. But that's what makes the show so awesome I guess.

Jerry was a clean freak, and Newman was a creepy little slob. Like the time he was sitting in his chair and pulled out a fork.
