There is sure a lot of ranting from both sides here that makes no sence.

Neither. I'm not entitled enough to believe my point of view is 100% right, much less the gall to patronize and antagonize someone who shares a different view. There is much to be discovered by taking the time to truly listen and digest all encompassing views. I enjoy participating in a political debate like the next person and admit, I have my opinions, but unlike extremists, I possess the confidence and intelligence to listen and sometimes, I learn something new that provokes me to think about a topic differently. I think the extremists (on both sides) make it difficult for others to sort through the rhetoric and to be understood.

I would rather discuss a situation with civility, listen to the other person, think, and make up my own mind.

Watch FOXNEWS for presentations of both sides of an issue. You won't get it from Jon Stewart, Chris Matthews, etc. ...

Many people will NEVER see another point of view. For those peole, it is fun to make them mad. You know who I mean. Those that are really for Bush and Ann Coulter and the war.

I never try to convince anyone of anything. It's a waste if time.

I know I am right and I do not have to convince myself of that so
there is no need to convince others.

I really would like to see some thought provoking questions, with honest answers. There is too much rhetoric here, for sure.
