Isn't that a contradiction in terms? Someone who feels inferior has no ego. An egomaniac has too much. Or are you suggesting that someone who comes across as arrogant & narcissistic is really just trying to mask feelings of vulnerabilty & inferiority?
In any event I'm the opposite. I have no ego. I'm modest to the point of being self-deprecating & yes I have an inferiority complex. Though it pushed me to excel academically etc, even being the best I never felt good enough...

Sounds like an oxymoron. Egomania in that case is probably more of an overcompensation for the inferiority complex and thus non existent.
