I live in a small town which is surrounded by suburbia, but I live 3 houses from Main Street, so I get that small town feel. I also live one block from the train station, so it's really convenient to get to the big cities (Philly, NYC) if I want. I'm near the Delaware, but not close enough for my house to flood, and 3 miles from a major highway that takes me to a lot of places quickly. It really is an ideal location--I'm very blessed!

I live in a suburban area about 30 minutes outside of Detroit. Its WAY too expensive to live here and since we are so close to the city the traffic is horrible. In a few years when I finish grad school we're moving up north a bit- my husband wants to move to a rural area- which is fine by me.
