Here's my thinking on the matter: Once you agree to accept payment for sexual activities, you've diminished the amount of control you have over choosing the particular activities. There are some people in the world with very scary ideas of how to reach sexual satisfaction.
One never knows what someone might like in that way, sometimes until it's too late. Particularly with strangers.
This may sound like rank heresy in these times, but there are some things that are more important than money.
