Because they have there hand out. Trying to get money. We pay for our friendship. When Isreal or Palestine gets a little short they just lob a few bombs and then the hand out starts again.
When you see a foreign leader with George Bush He is there with his hand out

America is one of the most POWERFUL countries in the world. i think everybody wants to be on Americas side no matter what they think of President Bush, of course, i think exactly the same as you when you say he is a warmonger, but we dont have a choice when it comes to decent hard-working leaders (i mean just look at Tony Blair!) no-one cares about the well-being of their countries anymore, its all about money now.
