Last one I've heard is "I don't have a dog", which would be a straightjacket sort of fun when playing with him on the fields I suppose. Come here, I don't have a dog! I don't have a dog, fetch!

NOT Bud which is our dog's name. There must be three trillion Bud or Buddy named dogs. Curfew is cute. Or Noodle. Our friends had a dog once that they named Welcome because he always greeted everyone who came to their house. They called him Well or Welly for short. My Mom had a cat named Fido.

We used to have a red dog, named Reddog. lol
Everyone thought that was a pretty funny name... lol
How about Hey You? Think about it, "Hey, You! Get over here!!!!" "Hey you, Sit!"
I think a funny name for a dog would be Kitty or cat.
