I believe that everyone should have one good pair of shoes, such as a designer pair. However, if you end up with only one pair of good shoes it will only become an inconvenience. First of all, you need a basic pair of shoes for exercising, cleaning the house, or going to an informal occasion. Also, if you only have those one pair of shoes in which are all you wear, they will become "old" shoe very quickly. However if you have an efficient amount of shoes and you wish to spend some extra money on a nice pair i don't see the problem at all. In fact i would probably buy the pair of nice shoes. Quality is quantity ;)
