I will be there in May. I have the option of going on Friday May 11th or Sunday May 13th.

What day of the week is it least busiest? Are weekends really busy? How long are the line-ups on weekends?

I disagree totally to answer #1. It can get very crowded especially on weekends and holidays. I have been Europa Park four times and I would say go on Friday UNLESS that is a holiday of some sort in Germany. The line-ups can be long and if I remember correctly, there is no fast pass system like you would find at Cedar Point or Disney. This may have changed since I was there last year. The roller coaster (the big one...can't remember the name of it) and the water rides are always a longer wait. Maybe 45 minutes to an hour if it is busy. The one thing you will notice is that they aren't very organized about putting people on rides. Often cars (logs on the water ride or rollercoaster cars) will go unfilled during the ride. They don't organize you early in line to completely fill the ride up. Weird.
You'll have fun there...try to go to a thermal bath nearby. That part of Germany has several thermal baths and they are fun to visit too.

It depends if you are staying on or off Disney property. If you are off property, you want to avoid the park that has early Extra Magic Hours each day, because by the time you get there, that park is already full of people. If you are on site, you want to utilize Extra Magic Hours. Also, if, for instance, Epcot has late Extra Magic Hours on wed. night (9p - 12a), then it's going to be the place to go thursday morning, because crowds are light, assuming you are off site and not using using early EMH in another park that day. Weekends are busiest during the school year because FL residents (like my family) join the throng since kids are out of school. Some good resources are:

I agree with nachosmyman: try to avoid the weekends! Friday 11th of may isn't a holiday in Germany.
