Ever since 9/11 this country's been kinda turbulent. And Bush needs to keep quite about what is going on in the war on terror. Bush being so tight-lipped and polarizing has really confused the nation, I think those are the reasons 2/3 doesn't believe we're on the right track. It's not Clinton's fault, he's long gone now.

"How do we get the 2/3 to see it the right way?"

Clearly you are with the 1/3 that thinks we're doing fine, I myself am not so sure. It's not so bad, but it could be better (diplomacy anyone?).

Well, I hope your being sarcastic, because I think that the 2/3 that thinks the nation is on the right track are the ones that are being misled. The "track" that the U.S.A. is on isn't going to lead us anywhere but into a big brick wall called national debt. SO , honesty I guess that I am in the 1/3 group.

1/3 thinks it's right (Republicans) 1/3 thinks it's wrong (Democrats)and 1/3 (All the rest of us who actually think about things)have not made up our minds yet. We don't have enough information to make an intelligent decision and don't rush to snap judgements because of the way the wind blows or the political leanings of the person talking

Actually there are more of us than belong to either major political party. Democrats and Republicans had better watch out. IF (and that is a very big IF) we should all decide to vote for a common candidate not affiliated with either major party we'd win.

But don't worry-- we can't form another party because we are all independant.

15 million smoke pot so what .150 million drink .30 million talk on cell phones while driving .
Guess all this is just fine because so many people are doing it .20,000 killed drunk driving 15,000 killed because of cell phone use at the moment of impact . They began checking cell phones and found that at the time of the accident 15,000 deaths occurred . Seems we can not talk and drive these days .
We all want to blame someone or something for everything .Well shyt happens .Half the people are drinking and get blamed for half the accidents .A study would suggest that if half the group is drinking then half of all accidents would happen to this group . Go figure blaming the drinking . In some cases it is surely a factor .But you have to admit almost 60million drunks make the trip from the bar home safely everyday .Blaming the drink is only part of the problem .

Of course it's Bill Clinton's fault. Who else could you blame? Bush, Cheney?
When the other 2/3 believe in "intelligent design". they will then KNOW God does talk to junior and will see we are heading in the right direction.

The power has fallen from within the Republican party. America doesn't trust the Republicans with their do nothing Administration. 12 Years of the do nothing Republican controlled Congress has shot them in the foot, and Bush just ices the cake for doomsday for the party.

I certainly hope you are being sarcastic. I'm not sure how the 1/3 could think we were on the right track.
