Of course not, he owes NY nothing. if anything NY owes him. I have been to 3 games at Giant Stadium and can tell you from first hand experience that Giant fans are the most unappreciative, rude, obnoxious, arrogant fans Ive meet anywhere.
I would never take my boy to a game there and don't think I'm just ragging on the Giants because we are both huge Giant fans.
I am embarrassed and feel sorry for the way the players are treated there.

they are going to do exactly high quality. Brandon Jacobs is a great runner and, whether no longer as sturdy as Tiki Barber, will fill his working function merely high quality. His downfall is that he doesnt have the palms out of the bacfield that Tiki did and obvioulsy he's no longer as rapid. he's, although, a Jerome Bettis type participant. he's extensive 6 foot 4 and 264 kilos. (a lineman's length) and in addition they are going to shape the offense to his strengths. something of the offense could desire to do truly properly additionally. Amani is on his way out, yet drafting Steve Smith to fill his spot and having Sinorice Moss unhurt will depart their receiving corp. in sturdy subject. Eli will could desire to step it up however. he's no longer a rookie anymore and cant have adequate money to die out during the 2d a million/2 of the season with demanding defenses he's going to could desire to play (Cowboys, Redskins, Eagles, Pats, and Bears) all in all i think of that the Giants will could desire to play truly demanding for what i think of is their terrific-case state of affairs, eleven-5, and are greater possibly to end the season with a 9-7 record

He cant stay young forever and he has the right to retire when he feels it is his time. If you think his career was a letdown to the city of New York or the Giants fans, thats another question all together.

I don't think he's letting anyone down. Also, he has been one of the top backs in the NFL for more than a few years, not 'finally getting good'. He may be leaving a bit early, but I can't begrudge a guy who's gotten the crud beat out of him for more than 10 years (including college). Good luck to him in the TV booth.

He's letting down us Giants fans because he's retiring. I mean it's good for him to end it on the top of his career, but it just disappoints the Giants fans that we can't see him play anymore or help out our team. He was probably one of the biggest leaders of our offense. :( We'll miss him, that's for sure.
