Generally assume there is no place for REO listings.

Many lenders will list their REO properties with a local agent. Some of the time the agent specializes in such work so they have the REO before it is ready for sale through the final sale. Any listed property will be on the MLS system.

I have purchased a lot of REOs and I have never seen a central list even for 1 bank with multiple offices. I am sure they have some sort of list in the department that handles the assets (they would legally have to). Just that they do not market the property from a list as a rule. They want a local agent with the ability to go to the property and deal with the logistics.

Try your county treasurer. They typically list properties that are up for Sheriff sales.

These are just a few. I urge you to contact your favorite Realtor since they know about these before the public does. They'll contact you the minute they come online if they know you are qualified to buy and willing to buy a fixer upper since most are in pretty bad shape and sold "as is."
