Are you as fed up as i am of all these stupid little braindead morons who rant on about how great their team (regardless of who, no bias here) and the rest are scum, t0ssers,@rseholes, etc, etc, because they haven't got a clue about fooball, just support that team because the were winning at the time they grew their 1 and only brain cell. I support Man Utd, been watching them since i was 5(1971). I'm gutted about yesterday, don't think we deserved that, but congrats to Arsenal they kept going to the end ,we've done that to teams loads of times and in long run will do us good(see how it hurts & make sure, as Fergie sed, It DON'T happen again.
As for the rest of the season, we actually ended the W/E better off than we started it & we will go on & win the Lge because
1. CHELSEA.. bubble bursting, we knew it would eventually, too many ""superstars"" upsetting the harmony, too many organ grinders (Leeches, Kenyon etc)
2. ARSENAL... good youngsters.overplay too miuch & not up for a battle

3. LIVERPOOL.. need a Manager that actually Knows what he's doing.. Knows his best team etc,, and stops buying mediocre spanish players eg Reina in goal,so sells Kirkland & ships out Carson, both who (in my Opinion) are better than Reina
ALTHOUGH being a Utd fan this makes me laugh... sorry L'pool fans coudn't resist, and wouldn't expect you too if roles reversed.... TY for beating Chelsea for us by the way.
This is now the end of my rant........
Any Comments,, feel free

you just have to filter the shite, once you've identified the real football fans, SUPASPURS, SUPERDEANO, LF, MR FUDGIE, AND A LOT OF THE SCOTTISH FORUM, you can then more or less ignore the kids. I imagine the likes of TOURE to be a 12/13 yr old kid with a one sided opinion, which is fine but as you know we all grow up. If i don't get a thumbs down it means that they haven't read my answer i have hit a few nerves on here.
but again i say they are only kids they cant effect your bank account, keep smiling mate, 6 points clear.
THERES ONLY ONE UNITED.

Nothing like a humbling to bring some fans back dowm to Earth. I admire Arsenal for the way they play and quite frankly Man Utd have only themselves to blame for losing. The marking at Henry's goal was non existent but in any event the cross should never have been allowed to come in. I honestly think a draw would have been a better reflection of the game but there is no damage done to Utd and they will still win the League. How about Arsenal for second-they are better than Chelsea and that would finish off Mourinho if he is not already finished.

I have to agree with you on this one. Up until three seasons ago I had never met a Chelsea fan in the area were I live. All of a sudden they shot up like popcorn. I compare them to Vanilla Ice, a one hit wonder. I do think that Arsenal are good team, however they not quite ready to go all the way.A few seasons under their belts should make them a force to be reckoned with. It pains me to say this, cause I am a Liverpool supporter, but it seems that United have found that form that brought them so much success in the late 90's and early 00's. I have to wonder though, will it still be the same when Fergie finally leaves the theatre of Dreams.

yes i agree with what you are saying about fans ranting about other teams when they are just glory hunting , supportin the team that is winning, but: I am sure as a man u fan u must realise that this is the case with most man u 'fans' , they know nothing of the club, its past history etc. Im not saying every man u fan is a glory hunter but there is a huge amount of them out there that are, including many of my friends. Oh, and another point you said that arsenal are not up for a battle. This may have been true earlier but the current results prove this has changed. They have got stuck in and fought like lions recently, as man u found out last sunday, and many more teams will find out soon enough.

Well I was born and bred in Reading so I am always happy to see how they are doing however I am a Spurs fan. I can't say that I have supported them all my life but in the last two years since I have been a member I have been to many of their home games (including Cardiff last Wednesday I will be there for the Arsenal game this Wednesday). I am always asked why I support Spurs and I have to answer that you can't just support a team just because they are doing well! I like the players, their style of football and don't slag off the manager/players after every bad game.

Because of the 'tribal nature' of us football fans this will always be the case - we can be quite a blinkered bunch and there will always be a certain jealousy of whichever team is at the top of the pile. However, if it wasn't like this, then you wouldn't have been able to post this question & things would be a lot duller, so long may it continue!
And I wouldn't be able to write this:
Toure - how can you slate Ronaldo as the biggest cheat in the Prem when you've got that Kraut comedian in nets & what about Eboue yesterday going down holding his face after a nothing challenge from Rooney, not to mention the dive in the Champs League Final from which you scored your (consolation) goal?!?
I'm a Bolton fan, by the way.

I was born in Birmingham and supported them when young. Now live near Portsmouth and have been to see them at various times for the past thirty years, now lucky enough to have a season ticket but i do go without a lot to afford it. I will always enjoy banter with southampton Scum as we call them fans. But won't slag any team off as long as they play well. Do get annoyed with the I support utd ski nal fans especially when they have never seen them. Have to be honest and say the opposing fans were more entertaining when we were in the championship and even lower leagues in the past. Well done to Charlton on sat they deserved the win and never stopped trying

Yeah I agree with most of what you said. I'm a Liverpool fan and very happy about the weekend's results. Just because Man Utd & Chelsea lost a game I'm not going to come on here & have a dig at those two teams. How many people on here name call - Manchaser, Chelski, Liverfool, Arsenil.........name calling is pathetic, just like people who come on here having a dig at one result.
This is not the place to have proper football discussions. If someone disagrees with you on here then you get a load of abuse thrown at you.
All four teams can take something positive out of the weekend. Man Utd are one game closer to the league. With ten minutes to go yesterday, Chelsea were going to be nine points behind Man Utd. Liverpool & Arsenal have broken away from Bolton & Pompey and got closer to Chelsea.

"WoW" I do not want many days like yesterday I really thought we had it in the bag, BUT, never mind like you said we ended better off. Can I say what a change to read an intelligent question (you can tell who you support) you make a lot of sense I can not see why people have to be rude or ignorant with their answers. You have been quite lucky with your answers only a few idiots. I can beat you time with Manchester United by 15 years but then I also support Liverpool have done for same amount of years, except when they play against each other then its. MANCHESTER UNITED ALL THE WAY.

i completely get where your coming from, its so annoying when you have that one person who thinks they know everything about football. Im a chelsea fan, and im not going to be biased to chelsea, but when someones on top, yea great for them, of course i want chelsea to win, but know what they arent the best right now, as their spot in the league indicates, if you support a team and gloat about their greatness you better have stats to back that up. And right now Man U are at the top, lost against Arsenal yea, that doesnt really give Arsenal bragging rights cuz they beat a team once, theyr not top of the table.
