my mom has already oked me doin this this summer...i want to move closer to him...i rly need to get away from my parents...it might just be during the summer and i come back and finish school then move back there permantly after my senior year...my parents are gettin a divorce and if im night arguin with my mom or lil sister it my dad...i try to get along and everything..but they are never happy with ne thing i do...so yea...but what is your opinion...??

in the state of missouri...even if i didnt have permission from my parents i can move and live where ever i want at the age of 17...its not 18 here ne more its 17

well if this friend is your rock in hard times and he's okay with it and everyone else is, it can help you though this time.
Your parents arguing is not good for anyone and getting away might help and your not going to be put on the spot for picking sides.
Happiness is more important than anything, look at your mom and dad there not hince the divorce, but if this makes you happy then go for it!

I think it's great that you have such a good friend, and I know first hand how hard it is to deal with that over a distance. Is going out that way a good idea for you? I don't know. Where would you live? How would you be supporting yourself? You need to make sure you finish school! Don't give up on that. It's important! But if you can live OK, would be safe and happy and your parents are OK with it, maybe it is what you need. Just be sure of what you are doing. Good luck.

You are only young and already set the plan to see him. Why don't you keep yourself busy this summer, get a job to save money for move to there. You might need money when you finish high school, right? what if your parents won't support you so you need to support yourself by begin the job. Once you save a lot of money and then it will easier for you to figure out about move there. Hope you are making this right decision.

the real question is do u have rom antic feelings for this guy? because if u do and u dont know if he does, there could be some problems between u guys. Either way it sounds like a good idea to get away from your parents for the summer.

Well if you were my daughter, I'd say no dice on visiting him until you're 18, then you can do whatever you want. But since you have the ok to go, then have fun, just don't come back pregnant and definitely finish your schooling.

Have oyu met this guy in person before? If not if you only met him online do not go meet him he could be some mass serial killer wanted to rape then kill you. You never know who you meet online is really who they say they are. I could say i am 12 yo male from Mississippi but i'm not. Some kids have it alot worse then you do trust me you got it easy compared to some other kids

I think that when you are 18 you should be old enough to make the right decision. If you think that is the best thing for you then so be it.

i think the summer idea i cool. definitly come back to finish up schooling though. if moving permanantly by him with make you happier then all the power to you.

im kinda going through the same thing with my gf. i live in NY. and her in CA. and it sucks. my parents dont approve but i still love her. if you really like him do all you can to be with him. my parents tell me to go ahead and leave but i have no where to go when i go out there. well good luck with this.
