Well here it is, I have this friend who ive been friends with for about 4 years now, we live about 15 miles apart which isn't alot about 15 minutes on the train for me, she drives. I also work int his town so am there nearly every day, and go there shopping alot on my days off. I often text her to let her know if im on a day off and going over there shopping or whatever (she isn't work at the moment). But she will either say she cant meet up because she has no money, or that she forgot I had asked her. So I invite her over to mine but she says for whatever reason she cant at the time, but then she will text me saying im in your town want to meet me, the last few times I have been out so I wasn't there and I tell her this. So then we end up rowing about not meeting and she says she comes to see me, but I explain that i am not always going to be in, so i cant help that she dosen't give me notice of this. Now she is kind of seeing this guy who lives in my road but she hasn't met him yet

they got together through a mutual friend and have chatted etc and they are going to meet up next weekend, to go clubbing but she wan't sme to go along to her town so she dosen;t have to meet him on her own, I said I cannot afford to go over there for a night out so soon after christmas as I will be paying at least £100 on taxi's drink and club entry. I told her to take another friend but she says her and her mates dont meet up with strangers. So I said what you don't go to pubs and clubs and end up chatting to strangers? She said she dont, I find that hard to believe. I said get the train over here and meet him( her car is broke) she said she don't get public transport alone, and she don't like riding it since she been driving! Is it me or is she just coming up with excuses for things? Should I just give up or keep trying to meet up with her??

For Gods sake - how up her own *** is this girl?? She makes excuses not to meet up with you then practically demands you go on this stupid night out with a guy she doesnt know. As if you wont feel uncomfortable playing gooseberry! She is selfish, shallow and childish.
Get some distance. If she wants to meet up then make sure she's the one to make the effort.
