I've been on & off with my guy for about 5 years. (our relationship is EXCTLY like Big & Carrie from sex & the city) We've not always "been there" for eachother, but we've been though a lot and now that we're back on and have been for the last 4 months and things are GREAT but there is chance that i could be pregnant, and i'm afraid he'll freak out.

I'm 23 and he's 33. Both of us have steady jobs and health insurance (cause i know someone will ask about that)

How can I calm my nerves and just "wait it out" without telling him that i'm concerned and risk having him get weird.

I didn't say anything for the two weeks i was having symptoms because i figured there was no point in both of us expecting something and not getting it. he knew i wasnt feeling well and he probably had an idea but he never said it. when my period was late i told him and he said alright we'll just wait a few days and after about 4 days i told him to buy me a test and i took it the next morning. he was pretty excited in his own quiet way.

my husband cried, he was so happy... probably cause he married very young and tried for a long time to have a baby with his ex wife. She kept beating it to him that it was all his fault, and he accepted that because he has a low sperm count. But we've been together for 5 and a half years and have two beautiful children, a three year old and one year old (almost)

Wait until you find out for sure first and then if he is in fact the daddy no matter how he reacts you have to tell him lol but you will find that out when you tell him i guess....well good luck

i think you should find out if you really are or not first then just tell him every guy is different some guys get happy some say "it not mine" and some don't care you just got to tell him and wait to see his reaction good luck

Heck, why take all the heat, make his nerves go haywire too. Why take it alone. Let him Freak out too. Also he is to old for you ten years is too much.

I don't there's anything magical to tell you. I'm sorry but I think you'll just have to wait it out.
