They start with your start day of your last period so... when you actually conceive they say you are already two weeks pregnant. You are 7 weeks with a gestational age of 5 weeks. Makes sense? I hope so.

Ok so here is the deal, the only true way to tell the date of conception is through the ultra sound and even that can be off by a few weeks. Here is the reason first not all woman stop having their period immediately following their conception. There are cases where women have had two to four periods before they stop entirely.

So unless you have some type of monitor built inside the womb that tells you the exact day of conception you could be off by 1 to 10 weeks.

Now adays there are services offered to people for a nominal fee that is not covered under your insurance to get an ultrasound performed anytime you want one. At least I know there is one in the bigger cities of Wisconsin so I can imagine there should be one somewhere near you.

i really wish you're merely having a loopy menstrual cycle. My menstrual cycle went hay-cord in college. I had continuously been a clock-artwork 28 days. Being in college had me less than pressure out and on a diverse agenda. (in certain circumstances i become 5 days overdue.) notwithstanding, condoms are not one hundred% valuable even at the same time as they are used correct, and that is conceivable to get some type of bleeding once you're pregnant. (it would want to even seem precisely like your era.) because that's been more advantageous than 2 weeks, you should get a fantastic interpreting from an at-abode attempt. you want to take a attempt contained in the morning once you awaken although, earlier you drink some thing. once you've executed some abode tests to the finest of the practise and are nonetheless worried, bypass to the healthcare specialist's. you're previous sufficient to bypass and not using a be sure, so no one has to understand. If that is the in user-friendly words component which will ease your innovations instead of waiting for 8 extra months, then do it. healthcare specialist's being pregnant tests contain urine or blood testing. Blood testing is precise, notwithstanding the urine attempt might want to provide you with a pretend adverse. strong success, sweetie!

Honestly, the healthiness of your baby is all you can bank on. My OB and I disputed my due date as well. I was so confused with the whole week thing: weeks LMP and weeks gestation. It's all so crazy. I know the day I had the sex that lead to me being pregnant, Sept. 30th. My doctor says I conceived Oct. 9th. Big difference, huh? So as I read the week-by-week guides, I'm always saying that was going on a week ago. The doctor gave me a due date of June 29 based off of my LMP. Online, I got June 24 based on conception.
It's confusing. Just take care of your body, and do a wide scale of research. You'll never be completely satisfied.

All pregnancies, are considered to start on the first day of your last period. For example, I started on Aug. 13, with my oldest, and I didnt actually get pregnant untill Aug. 28. But the chart put me as being pregnant from the first day of my last period.
At the doctors they have a wheel thing that shows it all. Just take a look at it, and it will more clearly show you how a pregnancy is calculated!
And Congrats to you!!!

Your probably going to get the same answer from your doctor as the calander. They are always about 2 weeks ahead of you. Why??? I have no idea but that's the norm and they will base everything off of the time they give you not what you know to be right. Just roll with it. Go with the calander and you pretty much have your answer. I would say then that you are due sometime in the beginning of September although your calculations would have you in the middle to late September. Good luck to you and try not to worry about it so much. You'll be fine... :)

Doctor's don't count from when you conceived they count from your last period so you're most likely 7 weeks and the fetus' age is almost 5 weeks or so. They do this becaus ete average woman ovulates about 14 days into her cycle. The online calendars are not always right. your doc will give you an ultrasound and tell you

The online program was right. Your due date is calculated by your lmp, not the date you conceived.
