There's a wonderful book called, "You Just Don't Understand," which explores the differences in the way men and women use language. It was written by Deborah Tannen. I'd recommend it highly.

Of course they do. I mean, what man can understand words like "flowers" "take out the trash" or "chastity"? ;-)

Seriously, though, I think they emphasize certain kinds of speech more than men do, but it's all the same basic language.

Women do not speak their own language. The reson you don`t understand them is because maybe you are not interested of what they are talking about or you are thinking of something else while they are talking to you.

Not only do they speak differently but they are totally different creatures; an intermediary stage between man and child.
