My team had just lost last night to the Colts. It hurts me that they lost because I put all that patriotic love into my heart, and they just lose. Patriots have won 3 superbowls in the last 5 years. But this year was my big year as a fan. But when they lost,a little part of me...dies. So how do I get over their game?

For all the people that didnt notice..im a patriots fan.

hey try being a Seahawks fan!!!
it is sad when you put your heart into something and it's over, but the good thing is that you do have next season, a great owner, a great coach, a great team and loyal fans....it gets better and now you will appreciate things even more now that you know how hard is to get to that special game we all dream of:)))

the NFL is awesome isn't it, can't wait until draft day!

Take however it is and multiply it by about a million and that pretty much sums up what it feels like every year as an Eagles fan. We have been coming so close but something ends up cuttiong our dream short. The Eagles have never won the Superbowl and every year the city is just alive with football hype and football dreams. At least your team has won, and not only won, but won a lot. Just remember, every team but one loses, but not every team gets a chance at success like the patriots have had. The patriots gave you yet another great year with lots of excitement. You can't win every game, just take the loss and look forward to next year, and give some other people a chance to celebrate for once!!!

Nobody died , for God's sake! The sun will still come up , you still have to go to work , the rent still needs to be paid. Do you think any of the Pats would care if you lost your job/house because you were so upset about them losing that you couldn't go to work? I love football , the Steelers in particular , but it's just a business now. Be a loyal fan . but remember what is really important. Wins & losses don't mean a darn thing in life compared to your family , friends , etc.

Ask anyone who's been pulling for the Colts the last 10 years(prior to last night of course). They're seasoned vets at getting over heartbreak by now. I guess we can finally put that behind us for a while though! :) Sorry to Pats fans though.

i won't be able to stand the Yankees lose against quite often to the crimson Sox of direction. yet I additionally won't be able to stand them lose to any nationwide League group for the duration of interleague play. i've got been a company believer that the AL dominates over the NL. I additionally cant stand the Padres lose to the Dodgers. The Mets to the Braves, Cardinals, and Cubs (fairly while Zambrano is pitching).

it's hard, just like with a bad relationship or a bad week on the job....it takes time. Maybe look to next year or start watching another sport to get your mind off of it. College BB is looking good right now. Boston College isn't doing to bad in the ACC.
