Statistics are used in every facet of the game. There hasn't been a black quarterback win the big game since 1990. (Williams, first and only time) The big talk is that there is two black coaches in the Super Bowl. But black quarterbacks have had some of the best teams in the last two decades and choked in the playoffs. Is there anything to this or have they just been unlucky?

This not a bash on a race its a statistically based question, the same question has been asked about various quarterbacks. (Manning) When quarterbacks don't perform in the playoffs they are talked about in a different way. (marino) Elway wouldn't of been talked about in the same light and wasn't till he won the big one. Why does it have to be a racist thing to ask a question about a race when we do it for everyone else. Someone was fired for saying something that maybe very true. If its ok to ask a question about a white guy why not ask the question about a black or green or yellow?

Football is a team sport. Bad quarterbacks have led great teams to Super Bowls (that guy for Balto a few years ago) and great quarterbacks have never reached the Super Bowl (Marino).
It has less to do with the color of the QB than with the ability of the player personnel director, how much (or little) the owner interferes with the coach, and injuries to key personel.
This will be the 60th Super Bowl, which means at MOST 120 QBs have played in the game (it's a lot less, given that Kelly, Bradshaw, Montana, Elway, Brady have played in multiple Super Bowls). So to say that X or Y number of QBs have played in the game is like watching a stretch of the interstate at 3 am for 15 mins, and saying, "Wow! Most Americans own 18 wheel tractor trailers!"

I definitely think there going to be people that will keep there mouth shut and are actually afraid of saying what they want. Personally, I don't care whether or not Collins is gay. But you have to think from a player who still has a career in sports and would try and go against Collins I could imagine there would be major actions taken place because that person would be looked at horribly through the media. It's one of those things where if you don't like it, you should just keep your mouth shut. Unless you want to end up like Broussard.

A super bowl team has to have the whole deal.
offense, defense, catching, running, throwing, etc.
If you don't have it all, sooner or later your team is going to fold.
Has nothing to do with the race of the QB.

it doesn't mean jack squat.... and i'm sick of hearing how important it is that not one but two blakc coaches are going to the superbowl for the first time. who the F* cares what color they are???? i think the races of the coaches are going to get more publicity than the superbowl itself.... both teams are deserving so what does it matter what race the coaches are?????
