is it weird for a 21 year old guy to have a 14 year old best friend. the 14 year old hangs out with he, spends the night at his house, and stay with him the entire summer, and the boy sleeps in his room. i know for a fact that nothing sexual is going on.

It's unusual, maybe. But when I was growing up, there weren't many kids in my neighborhood, so if I hung out with someone it was often my neighbor (who was about four years younger than me) or a family friend who lived in the neighborhood that was six or so years older than me. And we'd play video games, shoot baskets, watch TV, ride bikes, etc. Sometimes friendship is a matter of who's nearby.

Maybe the 21-year-old was bullied or unpopular back in high school, and feels threatened by his peers but comfortable with a younger friend? Or maybe he's got a hobby (comic books or sci-fi or something) that people his own age dismiss but a kid might be fascinated by.

Well, I dont think its weird for a 21 yr old guy to have a best friend whos 14. If they really get a long and are really good friends it doesnt matter and they arent doing anything wrong they just really good friends. I have a guy friend whos a couple years older then me and we are best friends. As long as they get a long and they can talk to each other and nothing sexual is going on.I see nothing wrong with it.

well it depends,if the 14 year old thinks as the21 year old and vice versa ,i think it's okay,but how ? i can't really say, but all i know is that it's fun for the 14 year old kid to hang with his elders,as for the 21 year old ...
