You might have endometriosis or ovarian cysts. I had a cyst on my ovary and it ruptured. The pain was so bad, I passed out. Apparently, I also have endometriosis. I finally found this out after living through tons of horrendous pain every month. I would check with your Gyno, because the sooner you find out, the better off you are. Here is a link with info:

I usually have bad cramping that literally begins the moment I get my period then it lasts for about a day and a half. There's not much I can do for that day but stay in bed unless I have prescription pain killers (though a hot water bottle and pressure to the area does help me). It's difficult for me to stand upright and I have to walk slightly hunched over. I get 'intestinal problems' and extreme nausea as well. I did not start experiencing bad cramping or other 'symptoms' until I had had my period for about 6 years.
Some of the worst cramping that I've had happened when my period was late. I'm usually never more than a day or two late but the latest it's ever been was about 2 weeks and that's happened twice in 17 years. One of those times, I actually thought I had ruptured something and I was immobilized by the stabbing pain. I had never been so scared in my life. I ended up 'passing' some sort of huge blood clot and the pain subsided. To this day I still wonder if maybe I had a miscarriage without knowing I was pregnant (the pain was that intense)...

I've had cramps where I have to sit down with a heating pad. I have even missed a day of work because not only am I cramping but I have the head ache and the ache feeling. But I have always felt this way during my period. Maybe your just about to have a really heavy period. If the pain is really bad and scaring you, then I think you should call your gyno.

I have bad cramps because I suffer from Endometriosis. I use a heating pad for the bad cramps, and I also take motrin. I think you should see a doctor so they can tell if something else is going on. I also use something called Cura Heat Pads, which they are like heating pads w/out the cords. I use them when I am at work and not able to sit all the time w/ the heating pad plugged into the wall.

I Would Guess It could be a cyst on your overies unless youve always hurt. It could be something worse, endemetreosis, or might be normal, if your under stress. the only way to know for sure is to have test done at your obgyn. I hope its nothing serious feel better

Have you taken a pregnancy test? Have you had sex to get pregnant? That is how I found out I was pregnant no period and intense cramping, the embryo was attaching it's self to my uterine wall that what caused my pain.

If you could be pregnant you should take a test or visit your doctor. If there is no chance your pregnant than just use a heating pad and keep doing what your doing. Good luck.

There are several things it could be - I would suggest you get to the gyno asap if there hasn't been any major change in your diet or exercise programs.
