The Season are actually planed out for the next 8 years it just that the dates have to be decided which i think happens just befor the draft

it usually gets announced in may, but there is a way to tell who your team will play out of division. if they finished first in their division, they play the other two division winners, and a whole other divsion from their conference and the other conference, which id determined by a rotating basis

each team schedule is all ready set ..just not the dates..each team plays everyone in their divsion twice(home and home) they play a division from the other confrence...and the teams in their confrence that was in the same place like 1st vs 1st...2nd vs 2nd
