It seems to me that so far the more recent zombie movies present zombies as highly mobile and able to jump off buildings to the ground. What do you think zombies should be? Fast and high dexterity or slow and lumbering?

In the movies, I prefer fast moving zombies - its a horror movie so it should be scary or suspenseful right?

In a hypothetical zombie attack, end of the world situation, I'd certainly prefer slow moving zombies for obvious reasons.

Depends what kind of zombie: the fresh ones are quite agile and quick, the ones that have been dead longer tend to fall apart easier and can't move so fast!

Personally I like the slow kind--they give you a chance to runaway and get trapped in a creeeepy old house.

I like the slow zombies, because then u have time to laugh at them before u run in terror, like in shaun of the dead, or slow zombies can create a more dramatic effect. Whichever the case, slow zombies have a special place in my heart.

If they're real and I'm face-to-face with one of them, I want them slow. The slower the better, so we can outrun them and save ourselves.

If its in the movies, I would prefer fast-moving and high-energy zombies, otherwise the movie would be boring.

Anyways, zombies are not real.

I prefer slow and lumbering zombies. They are much easier to defeat that way. I at least want the chance to get over my shock of seeing one before I have to kill it!

Overall, I prefer slow zombies. That is what kind of horror I was raised on, that is just the way it should be. One arguement though, I did enjoy the recent re-make of Dawn Of The Dead.

SLOW, I am getting older and I cannot run near as fast as I used to. Plus screaming in fear takes a lot of energy, and I do not have enough to scream and run and go far. Ifnthey are slow I can stop every 20 yards to get my breath and still get away!

I prefer slow and mass zombies. I believe they are more scary. Imagine a mass of them creeping towards you. You can run away from one, but there are too many of them. Can't possiblr run away from everyone.

They should be slow. They are rotting, walking corpses with nothing on the mind except to eat people. If they were really fast they would lose limbs. Plus, the slower they are, the better chance we'd have. :)

I always pictured mummies to be slow in movement.
How fast can they be being a corpse and all?
