It is very simple.... On the back of you washing machine you will have a blue pipe and a red pipe... These are colour coded for a reason... Red for Hot water and Blue for cold water...

You then need to look under your sink... You should have a couple of little taps attached to your pipe work... These will have a blue tap and a red tap... You need to attach the red pipe to the red tap. Make sure you have a rubber washer in the end of your pipe. If not don't worry, places like B&Q sell a small bag of these for a couple of quid. Make sure once it's attached, it is just hand-tight. You then need to repeat the exercise for the blue pipe.

Right, that's your water sorted... You then need to attach your waste pipe... Under your sink you will have the waste pipes for your sink.. There will be a little 'spout' coming off this which is for the washing machine waste. You need to attach the waste to this... It will be quite hard to push on but you can make it easier by rubbing some washing up liquid around the inside of the waste tube.

Then you have done it...

If you don't have any water supply under your sink (no colour coded taps) then you will need to call a plumber in but I would shop around because the prices they charge will vary... The job should take a qualified plumber no longer than an hour.

Hope you get it sorted!

You must have found these answers very helpful so far?
If you visit your local diy store you will find some 'clip on' washing machine taps, ask an assistant.
These taps just clip around your water pipes, you tighten them up and turn the tap until it actually cuts a hole into your water pipe. no need to turn off the water first, just read the instructions carefully.
When youve done that screw on your hoses and open the taps up. Dont forget to also fit your machine drain pipe water drain to your mains water drain !
Sound complicated? just talk the job through with your diy shop.

If it is level it will operate correctly. Lay a level on top and screw in or out the legs till the bubble is in the center of the glass. Turn the level 90 degrees and repeat. It will take several times, but eventually you will have it level. Make sure it does not rock back and forth. If it doesn`t set solid on the floor it will follow you out the door.

You will get a mess all over the floor if you don't. It will not wash very well either. You will save on soap powder though.
