i am a guest on a computer and i want to create an IM acount .
but it tells me i dont have ecc. and to go to adminastration. can any 1 help???

They turned off your rights to install software. You will not be able to install it without hacking the computer, which I am presuming will get you fired or arrested. There are free internet sites that allow you to replicate your IM accounts over the web if you are that desperate to talk to your friends.

The person whose computer it is has limited the actions others using the computer have. They are the ones who can change the parameters of any guest logging on, so you would need to speak to them to change your privileges.

the guest account is setup as a restricted user and cannot make any system changes as such...if you need to create, download, or alter a file...you will need the owner of the pc, or the admin..to allow access to it, or make the changes for you.
