It snows on the weekends so that you will have time to shovel it.
I've actually been paying attention to the daily weather throughout the week during the past couple of years, and most times the active weather (or the more active weather) seems to come during the weekends. So it appears you're not wrong. Mostly.

Recently I would have to say there may be something to that. However, overall, I would say it is your perception. Bad weather unless severe does not change your plans during the week. On the weekend though, when we have pie in the sky ideas of what the perfect day would look like. I seriously doubt that an ice storm fits the bill.

It is your perception. Since you are at work during the week - you probably don't see much of the weather during the day or don't really notice it. When you are home on weekends, you are more aware of what is going on outside.

It is always bad on the weekends getting worse on Sunday night.. making it complete gridlock, with snow everywhere, for your ride, to where ever you are going on Monday morning...arrrgg!!

It's just a perception because most people have the weekend off.
Since I started working 24x7 shifts my perception of this phenomena has been proven wrong

i'm sorry, that stinks. i'm just waiting for a snowstorm but would prefer it during the week to get a day off from school with the kiddies so i can sleep in.

sometimes...i guess if you work all week or attend school the weekends seem to have crappy weather.
