if ud asked me this qn 3 months ago before the new MCR album came out i woulda picked my chemical romance in a second. i loved their style and their music, so unique and so them. but now i just feel like theyre trying too hard to be 'dark' and rock when they were doing perfectly fine before. so im forced to pick fall out boy cause theyre definately unique and unlike any other band ive heard. and thats a good thing.

Fall Out Boy is a bit more mainstream... similar to that of Blink182 or Nickelback.
They are more appealing to the masses, as opposed to the segregation of My Chemical Romance brought about by the "emo" groups... Labelling the band "theirs" thus instantaneously making it unappealing to people not in that clique...
I like rap and hip hop, and i am quite fond of Fall Out Boy... but i refuse to listen to My Chemical Romance purely because its associated with emo!
