It depends how far I am from entering the intersection. Plus now some of the lights have a camera that takes photos of people who are in the intersection when the light turns red. Then you get a nice ticket in the mail with a photo of you behind the wheel of your vehicle. Sometimes I just don't chance it.

YOu speed up if it just turned yellow so you won't have to stop at the red light and beat the light..

I always touch the brake so the brake lights come on so it looks like I am trying to slow down but run the yellow anyway.

oooooooooh I use to speed up, till one time I sped up and the fool behind me sped up to make the yellow light and actually ran the red light because I barely had time. That person got busted by the police. I had to think... that could of been me, if that fool wasnt behind me.

I will speed up only if I would did not have time to stop

If there is a cop within sight I slow down. I have really bad judgement when it comes to this, I'm usually the one that runs through it and then realize when it's too late that I could have indeed stopped.

Depends on how far away I am...If I know I can make it, or it's a long yellow, I speed up...If I'm not sure, I don't press my luck, I slow down.

Speed up. I think that's what you're supposed to do. Brake and your going to get rear ended (the car kind).

In the traffic law, u must slow down then prepare to stop, this is the original meaning of yellow light to us, not to jump the gun and take the risk.
But, law is law, in everyone's vicious inner mind, try to break it. and I am also one of them.(smile )

I stop now, if a cop sees you speed up through the light, he/she can pull you over..
