so what are you going to tell people when you give it back-that you lost it? Nah, no good. buy a fake one or forget the whole thing and stick with a timex or something!!! lol

Not worth it at all! If your friend really cares about you, he wouldn't charge you. Secondly, he should be honest with you, because it sounds like he's either using you for money, or he just doesn't want you to wear his watch. I'd say give back the watch and find another friend who isn't going to use you. Good Luck.

It seems silly to me to charge a friend to wear his watch, but then if it makes you more responsible towards it, then I guess it's a worth while investment.

If a "friend" charges you money to wear something of theirs, they aren't truly a friend. I let my friends borrow and wear things of mine because I want to make them feel good.
