I am an indonesian. you want to know indonesian way of doing it? put onion under and on you nail. i mean, you stick the chopped onion on your nail. it will be really stronger than before. :)

Dip them in olive oil twice a week.Works for me
one of the best ways is to eat healthy and to make sure you have plenty of calcium. Calcium is what makes the bones strong, hair and nails. Do be careful however in like other stuff, too much of a good thing is bad. Then on top of it all less refined and imitation sugars and starches for it breaks down every good thing you just added.
