Please don't abuse animals. They can't tell you to stop. They can't speak. They just have to be abused. And another thing we shouldn't abuse animals because they were here before us. Please don't abuse them. What do you guys think on the topic?

You're right. Animal abuse is inhumane and cruel and if some people can treat innocent animals that way I would hate to know how they treat other people. There should be a much harsher punishment for those wo abuse animals

You would have to clarify your definition of abuse. I know you mean beating for no reason etc, but there is more than one way to abuse an animal.
Different societies treat animals differently but that doesn't mean they are being abused by that society.
Other countries may look upon our society and say we are abusing animals in the way we grow and process our livestock. if you eat beef, chicken, eggs etc. You are contributing to that abuse by purchasing the product and supporting the farmer.
Heck if you keep your cat indoors it can be seen as a type of abuse as they are nocturnal hunters by nature. They can only hunt the squeaky toy so many times before they get bored. Is it abuse to lock a hamster in a cage? Is it abuse to spay or neuter your pet? Many would say yes.

Wisconsin made some form of animal cruelty a felony offense in 1986. Since then, 27 states have passed similar laws.

I agree with you. Please do not abuse ANY animal. One of the Yahoo!Groups has been discussing this at vast length. It is an important issue.
