To become a mom. I always wanted to be a mom and a wife( not necessarily "needing" the latter, but I thought it would be nice) so I keep working toward it. Meaning I am finishing school and looking to buy a home in the next 18mths. All the things needed to raise a family of my own. I didn't have a great childhood and I want to have a child to give that too. That's my motivation.

At the moment I'm not sure...I'm kind of stuck in sorrow at the moment. But if I start to feel normal again after dealing with this my motivation will be to live my life, try to enjoy it, do things I love & hopefully have a meaningful happy life. Seems out of reach at present...right now I'm just existing without motivation...

Personally, I'm on a quest to understand the nature of life and consciousness. I also want to help people as much as I can – help alleviate as much suffering as I can. I am fortunate to have relatively little suffering in my own life (so far) and I very grateful for this, so I want to help others as much as I can. So what motivates me the most? I would say that I am very much absorbed in my philosophical/spiritual project – my spiritual quest (or perhaps obsession) for pursuing a philosophical, spiritual, and scientific understanding of consciousness and the nature of Being. I guess you could say that intense curiosity motivates me every day. It's like when you are watching a good movie and you are anxious to see what happens next. My whole life is like that. I'm fascinated by the flow and the meaning of things, and I'm always on the look-out for new perspectives. I enjoy engaging in philosophical arguments because they often lead to new ways of seeing things.

Of course, with a screen-name like "EroticOhio" you might suspect that I have other sorts of motivations as well. This is true. I deeply enjoy exploring the erotic aspects of life. I love women, and I love erotic play – the opportunities for intimacy as well as the obvious sensual thrills. I am fascinated by people – understanding them and finding connections with them. This is especially true when I'm erotically attracted to a person. This doesn't necessarily mean a lot of sex – it's often just the joy of flirting, or sometimes just being intimate platonic friends with sensually interesting people. But whether sexual or not, there is a deep pleasure for me in feeling intimate connections with women.

So the bottom line is that I am never bored. I get pretty tired of my work (it's a bit dreary and it is not what I really want to be doing with my life), but aside from that, most of my life feels like an adventure – like reading an interesting book and I want to keep turning the pages. And since the world is so full of suffering and philosophical/spiritual confusion, I'm sure I will never run out of new challenges to meet and new opportunities to broaden and deepen my understanding of life.

I love life. I would say that it is my faith. I wake up excited about what the day will bring. I love my children. When I was tucking them in bed the other night they suggested that I go on American Idol. I told them that I would get booted off. They replied ,"no Mommy, and you could sing "Splish, Splash, I was takin' a bath". I got a big laugh out of that. It is nice to have children who love you and think you look great without makeup:)
Peace out.

Like 'eroticohi' I too try to help.I can not think of just existing without making any contribution. But I tend to get depressed now and then.Basically I lack courage. If only I could be a cheerful ,courageous person!Does good cheer arise out of courage or courage out of an innate happy temperament?
