YESS!!
Try to find out if you have sleep apnea or insomnia.
I have this also and will do a sleep study. If you have sleep apnea your body does not get the right amount of oxygen and that makes your organs work harder, which makes you tired from tried to just keep up your body.

Also, get your thyroid checked and iron levels, blood work - the works!~
Find a good doctor and do your research. I had problems with the thyroid too and could not get out of bed and was always tired.
Slowly working my way back up.

I gained a lot of weight real quick.

If you dont excersie - start. For your metabolism at least.

Good luck!

This may sound funny to you - the more you sleep, the more sleepy you feel. For adults, it is exactly 8 hrs and 15 minutes of sleep for good health. Good sound sleep for those many hours will actually rejuvenate you.

Therefore, force yourself to get up at that appointed hour. When you go to sleep, tell yourself what that 8hr.15 minutes is and get up no matter what. First two or three days it is difficult, I agree. After that, your body will automatically do it.

Too much sleep is actually lethargy. Sleeping at odd times also is bad and it confuses your brain. Therefore, your brain tries to achieve that sleep pattern and aims for it. In the end, you would have slept more than you should have. This is the reason why you feel sleepy. Understand this mechanism then you will be ok and do what is necessary.

Go to bed at 10:30 PM, get up at 6:45 a.m.- You can be lying in bed awale for 15 mins. and no more.

You should get your iron levels checked, and maybe even your thyroid. Lack of iron or a sluggish thyroid can make you sleepy.

Just book an appointment with your doctor and they will give you a check over.
