My husband used to make fun of my beliefs and tell me that it was a form of insanity, my visions, etc. were all symptoms of something crazy. Of course, he told me he was Buddhist when we met and announced he was Catholic after the wedding and knew darn well I was Pagan before we got married, but he said he didn't really understand it. Anyway, it was not a happy marriage.
One day he videotaped us in the act without my knowledge or permission, at that point I wasn't even interested in being with him, let alone having it video taped! I was outraged when I caught him watching it and threw him out of the house. Two days later I woke up and found him on my couch. I demanded he leave, and he said he would, but he'd be back, and the house better be clean and just to make sure he was going to take the TV, computer, and my cellphone with him to so I didn't have any distractions. And I said no he wasn't, cause he wasn't permitted in my home and I took out my cell to call the police and he grabbed it from me. We struggled over it and I punched him a couple of times and I shoved him out the door, but he grabbed me and shoved me down and, well, the neighbors had a spectical and my face ended up pretty bloody.
Then he called the police and told them I attacked him and went on to tell them I was crazy, had hallucinations and talked to voices in my head. At this point I was so aggrivated I could have really killed him, but I stomped back into the house and locked it up tight and barricaded it, etc. I let the cops in when they came and told them what happened and since I hit him first I went to jail and since we were still legally married he had every right to the house. He put a restraining order on me so I couldn't come home. He got the house and everything in it, I lost everything and was homeless for two months. By the time it even came to court there was nothing left to fight over.
If I knew it was going to turn out like that, I would've hit him harder.
