No. First of all, this question is inherently rascist and sexist because it presumes that a person's skin color or gender is a factor in determining anything whatsoever. Second, while the possibility exists that any person, regardless of skin color or gender, has the propensity to change America the likelihood of that occuring is negligible.

Most Americans fail to understand how America works. They believe what they are told. Joseph Stalin was right. Tell a lie long enough and people will begin to believe it.

The fact is America was sold out a long time ago and is no longer a free nation. Congress passed the Owen-Glass Act (passed by Democrats) that gave the Federal Reserve, a privately owned corporation, complete control over the United States' economy and monetary policy.

In fact, the owners of the Federal Reserve created the Great Depression and are responsible for many of the economic conditions Americans have faced since 1913. This is substantiated with current Fed Chairman Bernankes admission of such at Milton Friedman's 90th birthday bash.

Wonder why the so-called journalists have failed to investigate/cover these facts in depth? The same people who own the Federal Reserve also own (by controlling the majority stock) the mainstream media (CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, network radio, 1,000's of newspapers, magazines and websites) to control the flow of information. Do you still believe America is a free nation? Why are you so naive?

America will change, for the better, only when Americans unite together and say "we've had enough." Until then, we will continue to elect subserviant politicians who obey the commands of the owners of the Federal Reserve System.

President Kennedy tried to do something about this. This was before a bullet entered his skull in Dealey Plaza incidentally. His question was "ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country."

The real question today is what are you going to do now that you have a glimpse of the truth? How many people will you educate and inform and call to action? Forget about what other people are/aren't doing - what are you doing to create a better America?

Copy this and pass it along to your fellow Americans.

I believe it's a good idea to vote for whoever you think is going to do the best job at running the US. I think they could change America the same way a white male president could. I also think if America turns this into an election about race a women or African American will never win!

Depends on the person. It doesn't matter what color or sex they are to me.

To me Rice would make a great president so would Powell.

My dream ticket would be Powell as president and Schwarzkopf as VP. He knows the Middle East better than anyone. He put together the coalation against saddam. Anyone can get that many Middle Eastern countries on one side has more on the ball than anyone in Washington.

The problem with my dream ticket because of the politics as they are it is not longer who is the best person but who can swim through the sewage and come out not smelling too bad.

Bad idea, not because I hate black woman but a woman in general should not be president, it will only piss other countries off like China, Russia and others, what ruler of another country wants to listen to a woman tell them what to do especially if they have strong beliefs about woman in politics. Hopefully it doesn't happen sorry for the ladies but we already piss other countries off I wouldn't want to do any more damage to these countries ego's.

I think it would be the final step in civil rights. At that point, the conversation couldn't be avoided. After a year or two, we'd get tired of every news article being peppered with "as the first African-American president". We'd have to bring those final issues to the forefront and get over it.

I don't see any changes or major impacts on either being a president..........The only black coming to mind is Barak and I don't think he has the qualifications to run the country. The only woman that has the qualifications is Hillary and for some reason she is everyones' target!
If both were qualified it could be a Good Thing!

P.S. How about a joint effort from both?

It wouldn't, unless people are so shallow as to think such surface differences - pigmentation and genitalia - are more important than character, integrity, honesty, etc.

And the fact of 2008 is that Hillary is too corrupt, and Obama too inexperienced. Neither would be good for the country.

I don't think any changes would be BECAUSE the president was black or female. The individual person is made up of many more things that race and gender. That's why we should never use those things to discriminate, for good or for bad, among people.
